MyNewHubitat?

Hi,

I've been using my Hubitats (three C8 units) for some time now and all has been good.

I recently replaced one of them with a Pro version and am now using the replaced unit as a learning tool to try out new devices and apps without impacting the day-to-day operation of the main three units.

For some reason this "learning" C8 is putting out a WiFi signal "MyNewHubitat". I don't recall that happening with any of the others before but perhaps it is just my memory at fault.

What is causing this signal and how do I shut it off?

It turns off on its own if you are using the hard wire ethernet

Yup, once you setup the ethernet or Wifi connection it is supposed to turn itself off.
How do you have the hub connected to your LAN?
Maybe go into the network settings and make sure Wifi is not enabled if you have it connected via ethernet.

Hi,

It was happily connected using the LAN part as it was in the past.

So I put in the WiFi info and it connected via that as well.

Then I disconnected it from WiFi and that seems to have solved the problem.
