I have a problem with my zooz dimmer, I decided to remove it and the added it back and so far it is working fine, but somehow another zooz dimmer just disappears, It is not showing up in the device list. Also it was part of some up and now in the app it shows as null. II tried to exclude it and tried to add it back - no joy. The actual dimmer seems to be fine - when I tap it on and off it is working but I can not to access it through hubitat,
I have a backup where it was supposed to be ok, but is it the best option?
I believe that the LED on Zooz dimmers will provide an indicator of what they are doing for exclusion and inclusion activity. That is where I would personally start - comparing LED behavior to the User Manual.
Once you know what the device is communicating about its status, you can better gauge next steps - that might be factory reset, pairing it closer to the hub, or something entirely different.
I setup my zooz dimmers quite a few times and I watched it. It was supposed to blink and there was no blinking. I did it several times - nope
I would try to do an Exclude first. It is often needed and works when a factory reset is not working.
Run that behavior by the Zooz support team. They have been surprisingly good at helping me to get unstuck from odd situations.
