I just added another ADT Water Leak Detector to my C7 hub running Platform Version 2.4.0.151. I also just found out my other, already installed for over a year and identical devices are not working. They have no visable errors I can find and the only difference I see is the "Application" and "Software Build" under device data on my newly installed vs the older ones have a different version.
The batteries are good!
Ok i have tried to change the driver reference and do a zigbee update with no luck!
Since I have 12 water leak sensors (1 new, 11 old), i decided to try and remove 1 old sensor, reset it and install again. Then i connected or included in the same apps as before, rebooted the hub and ran a test.
The ADT sensor, with a full battery, does change from dry to wet but it does not trigger the HSM to send an alert and shut a water valve.
The new sensor does work as suppose to.
All of my sensors were purchased in two batches as i could find them, so these I have had for over a year.
The only difference i can find is the newer one had a newer application number and software build but after being installed overnight both the application number and the software build has been downgraded and still works.
I'm at a loss at what to do to fix this mess and i don't know where to start.
New sensor works and 11 long time installed no longer work.
