My C8 isnt responding anymore. I get a blue light for a couple minutes then green but I cant access it at all

Just create a warranty replacement template so I can get this replaced. I cant access anything on it, no logs no UI at all, just dead address.

Thanks for submitting the warranty case. A replacement may not be necessary in your situation. Are you able to reach the Diagnostic Tool from a device that is connected to the same local network (same subnet) as your hub?

nope cant access the hub at all

unless I can access the hub diagnostic through the other hub, its still responding. but no web ui via ip:8081

Are you sure you have the correct IP?

@bobbyD the findmyhub site seems to be down? http://findmyhub.hubitat.com/
Just spinning for me, loading.....

Can also try this: My Hubitat Registered Hubs

Not here, when in doubt, try an incognito tab.

If Diagnostic Tool isn't available, then likely the problem is within your local network.

The fact that the LED goes to Blue, then Green, means the Hub itself is able to get itself running. I just shutdown one of my Hubs and unplugged the Ethernet wire. I then power cycled the Hub and it goes red then blue for a couple of minutes then Green.

All the advice about verifying the actual IP Address of the Hub is where I'd be focusing. The hub itself doesn't care much about what IP address it gets. It may get a different address every time you reboot it... depending on your network setup and vendors.

We don't know what networking experience you have nor the equipment available to you for diagnosing the issue.

I have an Apple Mac which is Linux like, from a prompt, I did:
arp -an|grep :3d

where ":3d" happens to be the last couple of digits of the MAC address on the lable on the botom of the Hub.

That command got me my hub's address instantly:

? (192.168.7.66) at 34:e1:d1:80:5:3d on en0 ifscope [ethernet]

If you do have that knowledge and equipment then you can probably find the address. However, it might be faster to reserve an IP Address in your network router for the MAC address on the Hub's Label. then reboot the hub and it will get the reserved address and never again move around.

It was for me too.. then I tried Bobby's suggestion to use Incognito and that worked, because Bobby is just that good.

Can you please press the network reset button on the bottom of your hub for 7 seconds with a toothpick or paper clip? It will be the only round hole out of all the square ones. After the light turns green again, open a web browser from your PC and type hubitat.local to see if you can get to your hub.
