Multiple usb dongle hooked to the same port

I use a usb 2.0 powered hub to connect a few dongles: Zigbee, Zwave, rtl43 and bluetooth. I plan to replace the bluetooth dongle, which I don't use, with a Thread one.

I wonder if having all of them on the same port could overwhelm it?

How much power?

I used to have a powered 3A USB hub that did fine with z-wave/zigbee/bluetooth dongles. All connected to a single USB 3.0 port on an Odroid N2. Never had any issues. The bandwidth of the port exceeds the small amount of z-wave/zigbee traffic (and presumably BT).

Not sure. The power supply is very difficult to access to check but I am not concern about overloading it. It works fine with all four dongles. I was more worried about data overwhelm.

In the mean time I did some more research and as you point out, it seems the baud rate of these dongles are ridiculously small compare to the capacity of even usb 2,0.

Thanks, I was worrying for nothing.
