I am moving a zwave+ outlet from one end of the house to the other. Is it best to exclude it first then re-include at the new location or does it matter?
From my expirience it will not make any difference.
You can always run z-wave repair for the device in its new location. That is if you beleive in black magic

If you are going to do that, I would suggest that you first take note of all devices that currently route through it, and, after moving it, run a node repair on all of those devices, or you could (not usually done except in rare situations, and this is one) run a general Z-Wave repair from the Z-Wave details page on the entire network.
If you exclude, it will break any automations and dashboards that use the device, so you probably donβt want to exclude.
