Moving Z-Wave lights from Vivint to Hubitat

Hello,

I am moving from the Vivint App to control all lights and smart devices using Apple HomeKit instead.

Since my light switches and most controls I have right now are Z Wave, I am wondering if need to first remove them from the Vivint Panel in order to pair it with Hubitat. I have the Hubitat C-8.

The easier way would be to put the switch in pairing mode and then try to add it to Hubitat, but not sure if this will work or create any kind of problems.

Thanks

Note, that sometimes vivint uses the antitheft command class on ZWave devices. For those devices you HAVE to exclude from the Vivint panel or it won't include with non-vivint panels at all (or will pair, but won't actually work).

I know they do that with locks and thermostats, but I'm not sure about lights/other sensors.

So to be safe, exclude them properly from the Vivint panel before using on a non-vivint hub.
