Motion lighting with contact sensor

I have Motion Lighting setup in my hall and that is working fine. I have a contact sensor on my front door which is in the hall and I want to trigger the motion lighting routine when that contact sensor is open, preferably without having to duplicate all the rules that I have in the motion lighting app. Is this possible?

I can see Motion Lighting has an option "Contact sensors to turn on lights" - is it as easy as just setting the contact sensor in there?

Thanks, I've added the front door contact sensor to my Motion Lighting app

I don't seem to get any logs showing that the app is being run when the contact sensor opens

Compared to this when my motion sensor triggers the Motion Lighting (app:193)

Am I missing something?

Here is the app that turns one or more contact sensors into a virtual motion sensor: This could be done with a rule also, but you'd have to create the virtual motion sensor first, and use Custom Action to control it. Using RM is a bit of overkill considering how simple the above is.
