I've noticed recently my motion lights have been turning off even when there is active motion. It appears new motion detection does not cancel delay timer as the lights will turn off after the delay even when motion is active. Do I have motion lighting configured correctly?
Motion settings
Logs, red highlights were motion went inactive & delay then new motion but lights went out anyways.

Iām experiencing the same issue. Did you ever find a solution?
What do your logs show? Screenshots of the ML app settings?
I would be surprised if this is a bug that wasn't fixed in well over a year.
I added in the "additional motion sensors to keep on" in an attempt to solve the problem. IT seems to be all lights on the home that I've set up this wat that turn off, then turn back on in a moment after the sensor triggers it again. Thanks for the reply!
You may want to look at the zone motion lighting app to group the sensors together.

Thank you for the suggestion. It's just the one sensor though. I added the same one in as an "additional" in an attempt to keep the light on.
Ah yes, I should have looked more closely at the screenshot
What is the timeout setting on the sensor? In its device setup page.
This particular one (I've got different brands of sensors for other lights, but are still allowing the light to go out) is a Sonoff sensor that isn't adjustable and resets every 60 seconds.
You can't use the same sensor for "additional motion sensors to keep on" option. That is to be used for a totally different sensor. So I would start there.
What brand/model is this motion sensor and light switch?
If you go into the Bathroom Light device settings page, and scroll to the bottom, what does it show for "In Use By"? Only this rule?

I'll remove the "additional motion sensor..." entry to clean up the rule.
The motion sensor is a Sonoff, though I'm experiencing the same behaviour on other lights with different brands of sensors.
The switch is an Enerwave z-wave relay. I've got them in other applications (on/off by lux) and they function perfectly.
The Bathroom Light device is only used by this rule.
Is it likely that there just isn't enough actual motion for the sensor to pick up? WIll it see motion if the heat signature doesn't change much due to a lack of movement? When the light goes out, if you wave at the sensor or move, it comes back on. I experience the same bahavour in my office with an Innovelli 4 in 1 sensor as the trigger. You have me thinking that may be the root cause.
Could be the sensor, could be that a bright/hot bulb is fooling the sensor, or it is blocked or positioned poorly?
All of the instances use LED lights and the sensors aren't facing them. I'll take another look. I may try moving the sensor so that motion moves more across it rather than in front of it.
With you having looked at my rule setup and provided a few things to check, I'm feeling more confident that it's a sensor/positioning issue.
Thank you very much for your time and knowledge. I'll report back.

Repositioning the sensor so that any slight motion when you're just standing in the room moves more across the sensor versus toward or away from it has solved the problem with the lights turning off.
I appreciate you taking the time to look at this and verifying my rule setup. This community rocks!

Turn on logging in Motion Lighting, and it will show you exactly what is going on.

The instances I was having issues with seem to be functioning properly after relocating the sensors. If I have any other concerns, I'll turn on logging. Thanks for the tip.
