I purchased this and am having a really tough time pairing it with my C7. I set the channel dial to 3 to indicate Zigbee channel 14 and press the pair button with a rocker to generate kenetic power but it never pairs.

Any help would bee greatly appreciated.

I am successfully using a similar device, but it comes with a Zigbee controller ...
The kinetic-powered communication is only between the button and the mains-powered Zigbee switch (relay):

Sounds like the original Hue Tap Controller.
It might be using ZigBee Green Power.
