I have a mode setup for Sunday morning routines that the Mode Manager consistently will not set.
What am I missing
Looking at your screenshot it looks to me like something is missing.
What is Sunday Morning at 5:30 supposed to do?
There isn't a mode set against it.
In your other statements they all open with mode:
Might be me as I don't use mode manager but it just doesn't look right. 
Sunday morning is the mode name.
We start our day at 0530 Monday - Saturday -- this is the normal Day mode.
On Sunday Morning we start again at 0530, but for part of the day I want certain devices to work differently. This period ends at 1030. I created a mode called Sunday Morning to only be active from 0530 - 1000 on Sunday only.
What happens is that on Sunday morning Day mode starts like every other day of the week.
Ah OK. That makes sense.
Not sure why it doesn't activate though.
Like I say, I don't use MM.
Maybe it somehow got screwed.
You could delete and start again.

There is a bug-fixed Mode Manager coming out quite soon. Meanwhile, I will look into what you are reporting. As a work-around, use a Rule to set Sunday Morning, and remove it from Mode Manager.
FWIW, I just tested your setup for Day and Sunday Morning (with altered times) in the new version, and it works as expected.
