I switched from RM to Mode Manager yesterday to manage mode changes. Using a "House Sleep" switch to switch between Home and Night modes. If House Sleep changes to ON, go to Night mode. If it changes to OFF, go to Home mode.
Seems that every time the switch changes, regardless of state, Mode Manager does BOTH actions instead of just one...it changes the mode to Home then immediately to Night.
I will look into this. Thanks for reporting it. Yep, there is a bug: it is not discerning between on and off correctly, hence the double mode change. Fixed for next release.
Quick question: should the mode manager + switches work for when switch CHANGES TO on, or when switch IS on??
Preference would be changes to, especially for AWAY. For example, if switch changes to on, set AWAY mode, which turns off most of the house. But then I may want other automations to occur (even in away mode). In the case of CHANGES TO it allows other rules to run and other devices to turn on and off. If it were IS off, then I think my automations (in away mode) would all be stopped.
