Hi, is there a way to set modes based on two presence-based modes? One is a few blocks from home and the other is many miles from home.

There are a few ways to do this. Here’s one that uses mode manager:
First, you will want to create and setup presence devices that only get deactivated when you leave the selected zone. This could be done with Geofency or other presence management apps on your phone.
Once this is done, from within mode manager, use the edit icon and select the “Out of Town” mode and from there select your new presence sensors:
It looks like that’s not using the new integrated mode manager. And as you can see from above screenshots, I already have a mode trigger for everyone leaves for Out of Town. Am I missing something?
I already combined presence sensors with other apps to get these combined presence sensors that work reliably. But basically when I come back “In to Town”, presence should switch to Away. Until I’m back home and then it should be a time of day presence.
I’m not sure if it will go from one presence mode to another… I would think so though, if your “out of town” presence sensors report presence but your other presence sensors don’t, I would assume it would change from “Out of town” to “Away”. That would need to be tested.
However, if that doesn’t work, a RM rule could be created to do this.
