So, when they changed the security to not allow http, the first time you had a choice to continue. If you did not click continue the first time, it blocked the site for good. (There was a thread on here about the downloads as well - while chrome gave you the option to keep when downloading your backups, chromium browsers - Vivaldi in particular - flat out failed to download the backup files because it was an "insecure" site).
It should fix if you change the settings and THEN clear your cache. However, it seems to get stuck for others.
The only other thing I can think is to go to the IP address in the browser, let it show the grey page, and then clear the cookies and data for the site.
Took some digging.... but I found the old thread. This workaround was required prior to chrome and chromium allowing changes to the insecure privacy settings:
OK, problem solved but cause unknown. Last evening I checked to see when the latest update to Chrome happened (automatically from Play Store). It was February 25th, one day before I installed the newer Hubitat app (green background, white logo). I uninstalled the update and decided to pursue the issue this Sunday morning. I enabled Chrome again, changed the default browser back to Chrome from Firefox, opened Chrome and typed in the hub address. Everything worked correctly. Closed the browser. Opened the Hubitat app, it worked correctly. Opened the app management section on Android to update Chrome and found that it had been automatically updated at 05:28 today. Opened Chrome, typed in the address of the hub again just to be sure, it worked correctly. Closed the browser again and opened the Hubitat app again and, once again, it works perfectly. Fingers crossed that this is the END of the problem with Chrome. This Chrome version is, by the way, 145.0.7632.120. I don't know if there had been a problem with the Chrome update that was done on Feb 25 and the automatic update that was done this morning fixed it. I guess we will never know.
Again, thank all of you for all your help and time.
