This morning I click on a dashboard in the iPhone mobile app and it opens Google Chrome with a list of dashboards. The url is cloud.hubitat.com. I updated my mobile app and updated the c8 Pro hub. Closed all apps on iPhone and rebooted the phone. Still same.
Mine started doing the same thing a couple of days ago. However, it opens Chrome with the URL as my local Hub IP.
URL is dependent upon if it can reach the local IP address or not. Over my VPN, the URL is the local IP address.
I noticed this now happens on my iPhone - either on my local network or cell. It’s annoying.
IOS 27 public beta, Hubitat app version 2.1.69 (470)
Also happening on my girlfriend’s iPhone as well.
Same here. Not a fan. How do we disable this
If it's an issue, please roll back the firmware. The link handling comes from the hub, not the mobile app. We'll fix it in the next public release.
That made it better thanks
I'm assuming there's no defined date this will be resolved? As I use backgrounds and overlay buttons and switches over it, opening in the browser messes all that up as thet don't align any more.
This was fixed in a recent update:
- Fixed an issue where dashboard links opened in the browser instead of the mobile app. It may take up to 24 hours for the old cached dashboard screen to reflect the change.
Yup, 2.5.1.147 and 24hrs later and its back to normal - thanks ![]()
I'm still having this problem. When off-network. When on local wifi and over VPN, it works fine.
Same, I must’ve not tested off network. Off network it still redirects to a web browser ![]()
