installed a new device. it showes up in Devices it is controllable and works. adding it to my dashboard is a issue. it will not show up in (Pick a Device). Ive tried changing (type) in the Device Info area. what have I forgotten to do?

1st. Apps, hubitat dashboards
Select dashboard to edit
Click your devices in the list of devices
Update
Done
2nd. Dashboards
sel the one you want to modify
Add your device.

I don't think Maker API app is required for dashboards to work.

I think you're right....i believe that is a requirement of Bryans tile app for dashboards.
