@support_team Horrific migration from C-7 to C-8 Pro. Purchased (useless) Cloud Backup and Local Backup. Both fail to restore to new hub. Added bonus? Old hub will not exclude ANY devices successfully. I can force, but how to I get devices back to pairing if I force from hub?
Maybe Google how each of your devices has to be factory reset? Or use the C-8 pro to exclude them as unknown devices? Both will work.
I also keep a third party hand held zwave controller around just to exclude devices.
Didn't even need to purchase it for just migration.. As cloud migration is free.
If you don't mind sharing your hub ID over a PM, I can look at the logs and likely fix the issue you are having..
What is exact handheld device, I cannot find one. Of course I spend SIX hours googling how to fix all of this. C-8 Pro is not seeing devices because they are paired to C-7. The C-7 will NOT exclude any device, so the C-8 Pro can never see them. Manual reset on some Eaton Dimmers does not work (not a hubitat problem per se BUT because I cannot exclude it is a Hubitat issue).

You are apparently unaware that a controller doesn't have to be paired to a device to exclude it. So your C-8 Pro can exclude devices paired to your C-7. Just as my handheld controller (I use a Aeotec minimote) can exclude devices paired to any z-wave controller.
In ALL instances, a device has to be placed in exclusion/inclusion mode to be excluded by a controller. This is not a hubitat requirement; it is a z-wave requirement.

He did.. And it's related to a bug that was discovered yesterday.. Fix is coming..
I would suggest not messing around with the old hub too much until you migrate.
If you start deleting devices on the old hub, and want to migrate in the future, you won't have a complete migration with all devices as you do at this point.
