Close. The driver for these bulbs lets you set a default for what happens when you lose power and then restore power. On the c7 I have them all set to remain off once power is restored. So when the c8 does not connect to them, they do not light up even though they have power. I had to pull each bulb and install them into a table lamp with power off before they would go into the pairing mode. I had to use a normal led light to be sure I was starting with the power off since my innr lights would not light up at all.
