Migrate hubitat hub question

Hello I have a hub c5, I will buy new hub c7, can I make a backup and restore it on the new?, will work everything?, the device will connect itself?.

I will buy other to a sister and I will copy all rules and webcore piston, can I do it?

This will only work once the Hub Protection Service is launched.
At the moment I believe you can restore the backup, but you will still have to exclude all devices from the old hub and pair with the new.
Maybe you could consider running both the C5 and C7 together, having the devices on the C5 and the automations on the C7 using Hub Mesh?

No date or cost is known for the Hub Protection Service, but it may come when firmware 2.2.5 is released, whenever that is, but not before then.
