Slowly, but surely Matter is adding key device types with Cameras coming in 1.5 (Matter 1.5 brings camera support at last — here’s what it means for your smart home | The Verge). I bet adoption will be slow, but it could allow for Cameras to easily serve as motion detectors within Hubitat.
