MakerAPI and Home Assistant - how to remove devices

I have MakerAPI sending a ton of devices to Home Assistant works great! As I am removing items from and adding to Home Assistant, I've unchecked them in the MakerAPI app. However, they are not disappearing from Home Assistant integration. Any idea how to get rid of them?

After removing them from MakerAPI you need to restart Home Assistant.

Thanks, I did a restart of the MarkerAPI part, but not HA itself.

Edit: I did a restart from the Configure, Server Controls. After that I still see the same number of HE devices...

If you go into your HA configuration is the device you removed from MakerAPI still listed in devices?

That is correct, they will still be listed. I can Hide them, but would rather they be gone. I'll see the same device twice - Once as Hubitat and once as Tasmota.

What happens if you simply delete/remove the old devices from Home Assistant?

I don't see how to do that - If I edit a Hubitat device, I don't see a way to delete it. I can just start from scratch for all the Hubitat things, but I want the ability to slowly remove devices. I'm doing Tasmota devices now, but soon I'll start re-pairing the Zigbee things.

That's odd restarting should reload the integration. You can try reloading manually, but you should still do a restart.

If that doesn't work you can always delete the integration and then add it back in again,

I figured this out - on the Configure link, it is multiple pages. I hit submit on the first page, and it then showed a second page for devices to remove. I thought Submit mean that was all the options, confusing UI is all.

Thanks...this post fixed the issue for me! Totally agree the UI is confusing...never would have thought to hit Submit to get the delete list.
