Hang on, did the previous owner remove his email as admin, and did you register the hub on the hubitat portal?

Oh, good thought.

I was also going to suggest removing the phone app, and reinstalling it. Nothing to lose at this point. Be sure to go in and claim the hub in the settings after installation.
