Does anyone know if such a device exists?
I have some Zigbee battery contact sensors that are on the edge of radio coverage, and even with repeaters I cannot get a reliable connection.
I have a reliable chain of light switches to that area and if a mains powered Z-wave contact sensor exists, it'd really be best for me.
Thanks for your help,
Mark.
How about long range z-wave?
edit: Why mains powered? You have z-wave switches to the area?

Something like the Zooz ZEN16 or ZEN17 that has dry contact inputs, maybe?

Yes, this^^^^
The Zooz ZSE41 800LR is a great little contact sensor, w/excellent range. I have one about 100' from my hub (probably more than that) through one interior and one exterior wall, and it has been 100% reliable for months.

Zen57 input can be used as a Contact Sensor, I use the Zen58 for that purpose.
Zen57 is mains A.C. powered
Where Zen58 is DC powered
But both are the same other than power source
