I want a LUX kono thermostat connected to my 2-stage heat pump with an api but LUX doesn't have an api. I'm hoping that I can connect the hubitat to a LUX KONOz and use the hubitat api to get full access to the lux with an app, alexa, and the api. Can hubitat do that? If not what features can I access with the LUX?
That looks pretty good. Can I return the hubitat if I am unhappy with the control?

The Lux Kono (and Hubitat-controllable variants like the Konozw and Konoz) only support a single cool-stage (single Y terminal), so they cannot be used to directly control a 2-stage heat-pump.
Here's the relevant portion of the installation manual:
So even with a single-stage heat-pump, they only support one AUX heating stage.
There are other Hubitat-compatible thermostats that support 2-stage heat-pumps with up to two AUX heating stages, like the GoControl, the Honeywell T6 Pro z-wave thermostat, and all the ecobee models.
