Lutron Serena Shades Question

I’m about ready to purchase a few Lutron Serena dual honeycomb shades to finish off our basement remodel. In the rest of the house we have Bali dual honeycomb manually operated top down / bottom up. When I purchased I was told to add 4 to 6 inches more than the height of the window opening to allow for shrinkage over time where the blind may not want to open fully when pulling it down. Was wondering if I should do the same with Lutron or if when you ordered you did exact measurements for top to bottom. Was curious how adding a few extra inches might affect the operation when battery powered? Would it show 90% closed or 100% closed? Make sense on my ask? Thanks!

Assuming you get a Pico remote, you can easily set the upper and lower limits. It's in this video:

I was never warned of "shrinkage" when I purchased mine, but I did get a few extra inches just to be safe.

Thanks!

I had 9 of these in a house operational for 3 years and didn't notice any shrinkage.
If one needed to order extra with these Lutron would specify this in their measuring information.

Thanks Mike!
