I've received my Lutron Smart Bridge Pro, installed the iPhone Lutron app, gave the Smart Bridge Pro a static IP address, configured my Lutron switches and remotes with the Lutron iPhone App. I enabled Telnet on the Lutron Smart Bridge Pro and can make a successful Telnet connection to it from Windows 10 CMD Telnet.
On Hubitat, when I try to add the Lutron Integration app, give it a name and the Lutron's static IP address, nothing happens with the app if I choose "Select Lutron Devices", or choose "Done". On the iPhone Lutron app Settings > Integration > Connections, my Lutron system doesn't have any integration connections set up.
Any ideas why Hubitat is not integrating to the Lutron Smart Bridge Pro? Both the Hubitat and the Lutron Smart Bridge Pro are on the same network and I can ping both from my PC.
Please complete step 6 under "Gathering required information", which you will need to complete step 4 (or step 5) under "Create a New Caséta/RA2 Integration". If you have a large number of devices, step 5 is the better choice.
After I completed step 3 - Name your Lutron integration and enter the IP address of your Lutron Smart Bridge Pro, and go on to step 4, nothing happens with the integrator app when I choose the Select Lutron Devices button. The integrator does not connect to the Smart Bridge Pro and give me a list of devices..
The integrator doesn't get a list of devices from the Smart Bridge Pro. Instead, a list of devices has to be provided to the integrator.
As detailed above, you need to complete step 6 under "Gathering required information". You will need this to complete the integration process (step 4 or step 5 under "Create a New Caséta/RA2 Integration").
Edit: Step 6 allows you to send an integration report from the Lutron App to yourself via email. You need this integration report to complete step 4 or step 5 at the Hubitat end.
Thanks for the clarification but regardless, clicking on the Select Lutron Devices button does nothing. It does not open the interactive setup dialog like shown in step 4.2 to select the type of device. I guess I'll try the Use configuration list instead of interactive setup instead.
The names aren't used across the integration, only the integration IDs. So, you can name them whatever you want on each side, and this is why you have to name them on the Hubitat side. This is simply the way Lutron defined the integration protocol. I found for myself that at the time I setup the Lutron system, I hadn't really figured out how I wanted to name things. So my Hubitat side names of the Lutron devices is slightly different. Never seen any reason to go back to the Lutron side to change things there, because I almost never have occasion to use the Lutron system itself.
Thanks. I got it to work fine. Only thing I noticed is if you type in the wrong device number during the setup you get an error and can no longer access the setup. Is there a way to fix this to get it back or do you have to start all over again?
