I got the lutron integrator setup and my devices show up (1 dimmer and 1 pico), but neither respond through HE. They work fine through Lutron, but not on HE. I'm sure I messed something up...
Two things to check: is the IP address for your Lutron Bridge (or Main Repeater) correct in Hubitat's Lutron Integration app? You would have had to put this in when you originally set it up. If that changed, do you have a static or DHCP-reserved IP address for the Bridge? I'd recommend that so it never changes, which will make this easier.
If that's all good, I'd verify that your device IDs are correct. I'm assuming you got those from the Integration Report previously. If not, make sure you do and match up the "Lutron integration ID" (if you did automatic setup, or the ID if you did manual setup) with the actual ID from Lutron.
Static IP.
Correct IP
Correct device numbers
Do the names have to match?
Nope.
Weird... when I went in to confirm everything... now they're working. Problem solved I guess!
No, the Hubitat names can be anything you want. Do you see any errors in your logs? ("Logs" on the left side for live logs, or go there and try "Past Logs" to see a static list of recent entries.) Or do you see anything at all in the logs when you try things on the Lutron side? For example, with "Enable descriptionText logging" enabled on the "Lutron Telnet" device, you should see see "info" logs like "rcvd: DEVICE,20,11,4" in your logs (that was me using a button on a Pico with device ID 20).
EDIT: And nevermind! Guess you got it working now. I will say that sometimes I have to re-"Initialize" (clicking "Done" also works) the telnet connection if my network dropped on the Hubitat or Lutron side for a bit (as rarely but occasionally does happen), or maybe either...I can't remember.
Cool! Now the fun begins.
