I am new to Hubitat, been a Wink user for over 5 years. With Wink you don't need a Lutron Smartbridge, so I didn't have one. With the switch to Hubitat, I had to order a Lutron Smartbridge Pro 2, which was shipped direct from Lutron to me and arrived today. I've been able to install it and all my Wink Hubs are unplugged and boxed up.
I never had any problems with the Caseta Plug-In dimmers before and have a total of 6 of them in use. Under the Wink system I could dim a LED dimmable lamp the full range of 100% down to 0%. Now with the Lutron Smartbridge and HE system, the same dimmers only seem to dim with the range of 75% down to 25%. Also now there is a noticeable humming noise coming from the LED light bulbs.
So what gives? Why isn't my Caseta dimmers working the same that they did before on the Wink system?
You need to set the upper trim and lower trim for your dimmers (these values were reset when you unpaired them from Wink and paired them to the Lutron Caseta Smartbridge Pro. Lutron has instructions on how to do it for each particular dimmer part number.
Very bizarre. This is unexpected unless you changed light bulbs. To be clear, whatever buzzing you're hearing has nothing to do with Hubitat. It may disappear when set the upper/lower trim for your dimmers using Lutron's instructions.
