Updated to HE version 2.2.6.140 over the weekend. I have a bunch of Lutron 6 button +R/L keypads in my home. I've programmed a lot of rules to run off states of the LED (indicating scene or switch on/off). Tonight I noticed some scenes are not working. I checked the button LED current state reported on device and they are all incorrect. Example below - buttonLED-1 is actually on. Sending Led Off or Led On commands to the device (Front Entry Keypad is integration number 35) has no effect.
Please show the logs for the Lutron Telnet device when this occurs. instead of a telnet session. The former has times while the telnet session does not Also, be sure you don't have the preference for the Lutron Telnet device to not send LED events. There have been some changes made to all of this functionality recently, so it is possible we made a mistake somewhere.
Also, please help me out to understand what is happening by letting me know what the integration ID is of each device involved. It's not really easy to put the pieces of the puzzle together without all of the relevant data. What does a motion sensor have to do with this?
Hi, thanks for your help. Can you tell me how to find the logs for the Lutron Telnet device?
The integration ID of the keypad in question is 35.
I pointed out the motion sensor because you can see that device ID 30 is triggered in both the Telnet session as well as the HE log (starting at 2021-04-12 08:18:49.153).
On the other hand, the Telnet session appears to show the LED on/off commands I sent to the keypad, device ID 35, but there is no corresponding activity in HE log.
And just to further illustrate what I'm referring to -
Keypad - Front Entry Keypad, ID 35 - no LEDs currently on
Lutron Telnet is a device in your system, created by the Lutron Integration app. Turn on descriptionText logging. Also, be sure it does not have the option selected to suppress LED events.
Please try this: Turn off the Enable sending LED events and hit Save Preferences. Then turn it back on and hit Save Preferences. See if that makes it start sending those events.
