Low voltage smart dimmer

We're finishing our new home construction, I have essentially zero electrical knowledge but have been using basic Hubitat functionality for the last couple years and love it. The electrician installed Zooz dimmer switches for all of our lighting throughout the house except we're now coming up to the under cabinet low-voltage lighting and not sure what to do. The electricians already wired for a normal switch at two locations, but I'm quickly learning it's not a simple solution like normal lighting. I can't find any dimmer switches for low voltage lighting at any of the major brands I've seen in the HE community. Zooz and some others seem to have some solutions for this (discontinued ZEN31), but I'm not sure I'm understanding what this is to be honest.

Any recommendations here? Is there such thing as a generic Z-wave dimmer? I'd even be fine with wi-fi for just these two ELV switches. Or is it too late to do anything and we might as well leave it on a dumb switch? Thanks for any guidance!

You need to be more specific regarding your lighting hardware. You mention "two ELV switches" That could be a number of things.

Thanks and yeah, I really just don't know much of what I'm talking about here. We have our Zooz ZEN72's and ZEN77 dimmer switches working for all of our ceiling lighting, and a couple ZEN71's for our ceiling fans, so I was hoping the same dimmer switch existed for low voltage under cabinet lighting. So I think I'm asking about just the existence of an ELV dimmer switch, similar to what the ZEN72 does for dimmable LED lighting.

Not Z-Wave, and doesn't match your switch choice. Only currently sold consumer-level ELV smart dimmer that I'm aware of. Might be easier to just change the under cabinet lighting to smart LED strips and control that with the Z-Wave wall remote of your choice.

There is a second Lutron that comes in the Diva style: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Lutron-Diva-Smart-Dimmer-Switch-ELV-for-Caseta-Systems-250-Watt-LED-Neutral-Required-White-DVRF-5NE-WH-DVRF-5NE-WH/331028911 that would work but it does require a hub.

The other major brand option would be Leviton’s version (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Leviton-Decora-Smart-ELV-LED-Phase-Selectable-Rocker-Dimmer-Switch-Wi-Fi-2nd-Gen-Neutral-Wire-Required-White-D2ELV-1BW/331802987) that can be brought in via Matter.

The last option would be a low voltage relay behind the switch like Zooz 700 Series Z-Wave Plus Long Range 0-10 V Dimmer ZEN54 LR - The Smartest House.

I am using dimmable 24V transformers for my under cabinet LED strips. They are controlled by standard 120V dimmers. So just depends on the lights you use what your dimmer requirements are.

Much appreciated everyone!! Running these options by our electrician and will report back what we decide on. Seems like there's several good options.

Can you post the brand and model number of your lights?

I agree. LV lighting comes in a variety of forms.

I've bench tested the Zooz ZEN77 and ZEN30 dimmers with this 24V dimmable transformer/driver and this 24V LED COB light strip. Both worked fine. No flickering, no noise, smooth dimming.

Thanks everyone. I reached out to the electrician but they've been slow to respond about some things so I don't know exactly what lights we have. But they did have the Leviton ELV Matter switches in stock so they installed them and they worked well. Really appreciate everyone's feedback!
