Lost all Z-Wave control

C8 - 2.4.1.164
I am NOT currently at the location.
My wife IS at the location, so I do not want to attempt anything drastic.
Zigbee devices are responding.

The majority of my devices are Zooz, but I do have a few GE/Jasco motion sensor switches, and having spot checked several devices, none of the Z-Wave devices are responding to hub commands. It does look like my wife physically turned on a dimmer switch, and the hub received that updated status. I ran a Z-Wave Repair on a couple of devices, and it returned a Failed message.

Any non-nuclear suggestions I can execute remotely?

shut it down… wait 15 min and have your wife unplug the power from the hub. wait 15mins and plug the power back in.

That will work but really you only need to perform a shut down from the hub settings, wait for LED to turn red, unplug for 30 seconds, then plug back in. Even 30 seconds is excessive but its what the documentation says (I only wait ~5 seconds).

I do support for a living, i’m taking into consideration all the parties involved and what people pay attention to…
Plus he has zigbee devices, there is a benefit to wait for the zigbee panic.

Regardless of how long you wait, the end goal is the same. safely reboot the hub.
