I have several Zigbee switches, dimmers and smart plugs from Sinopé all working nicely with my Hubitat hub. I recently purchased the TH1300ZB thermostat. When I try to pair the thermostat with my hub, the pairing process seems to work normally. The thermostat shows CONF for about 5 seconds with the network indicator flashing. Then the current time shows up and the network indicator stays on for about 15 seconds before it turns off.
The hub shows that it found the thermostat and I can add it as a device. However, I only see the initial information about the device when it connected (ambient temperature and setpoint). Any changes I manually make directly on the thermostat aren't reflected in the Hub. Also, I can't control the thermostat's setpoint from the Hub. Essentially, there's no communication after initial setup.
I contacted Sinopé and they don't know what might be wrong. They say the network indicator should remain continuously on after connection. I've attached the log of messages for the device. Any help would be appreciated.
There are other threads about issues with Sinope thermostats. If this is a newer firmware version, @mike.maxwell is working on a fix for the newer firmware versions.
Mine is the TH1300 and also doesn't show the temp on its display when change from HE. The temp on the device page does reflect the change, but the thermostat itself does not.
If I recall correctly my thermostat took quite a while after pairing to show all its data.
I tried using the Thermostat Scheduler App without success. At least I didn't get the impression that the thermostat's setpoint was updated according to the schedule. Clearly, it doesn't display the setpoint that the scheduler selects. Also, Sinopé support claims the network indicator on the thermostat display (similar to WiFi icon) should remain on when connected. It turns off about 15 seconds after the initial pairing completes. I've attempted the pairing procedure a couple times, removing the device from the Hub and resetting the thermostat to factory settings with a special sequence of button presses on the thermostat.
I'm using a recent hub Firmware version 2.3.3.140 on Hardware version Rev C-7
