Looking for a zigbee/z-wave chime like this one

Hello,
I need a chime that I can send an ON signal to in response to garage door opening and other events like motion sensor trigger by the gate.

I have scoured the interwebs and I can't seem to find any, could be I'm not searching for the right words.
The list of compatible devices lists one but it's been discontinued.

Something like this:

Would the Aeotec Z-Wave Doorbell 6 (also available as Siren without the outdoor button) do the trick?

Thanks Eric,
I didn't think to look for doorbell. I'll go back and search some more, maybe a more pleasant chime that is less loud :slight_smile:

Regards

I think that version 6 of the Aeon has a good selection of sounds. My understanding is both the doorbell and siren have the same menu of sounds. The doorbell comes with an outdoor button (which is not z-wave or zigbee). Version 5 of the Aeon is quite different and does not have the same selections of sounds.

The Aeotec Siren 6 has a list of 30 chime sounds from which to choose. You can also set the volume level of the chime to your preference separate from the siren. At a volume of 5 out of 100 I can barely hear the chime when it's 10 feet away. 50 is loud enough to be heard in multiple rooms and is where I leave it set. List of chime sounds:

1=Ding Dong, 2=Ding Dong Tubular Bell, 3=Traditional Buzzer, 4=Electric Buzzer, 5=Westminster Chimes, 6=Chimes, 7=Cuckoo, 8=Traditional Bell, 9=Smoke Alarm (Low), 10=Smoke Alarm (High), 11=Fire Evacuation Buzzer, 12=Carbon Monoxide Sensor, 13=Klaxon, 14=Klaxon (Deep), 15=Warning Tone, 16=Tornado Siren, 17=Alarm, 18=Deep Alarm Tone, 19=Alarm (Archangel tone), 20=Alarm (Shrill), 21=Digital Siren, 22=Alert Series, 23=Bell, 24=Clock Buzzer, 25=Christmas Tree, 26=Gong, 27=Single Bell Ting, 28=Tonal Pulse, 29=Upwards Tone, 30=Door Open

Thanks guys. I've actually emailed with aeotec about the siren and already have it on order.
It's strange how it seems be a unique product all on its own.

I was initially frightened away from it because it was called a siren. Then I heard about all the other options. I have been waiting for a killer deal . . .

Eric, Agreed. That's why I started emailing them and read all the manuals. I'm afraid the killer deal is a long way off, as this really seems to be the only one you can buy.

FWIW, I can’t recall ever seeing a killer deal on any aeotec products.

Not a "Killer Deal" but HomeControls has a sale on Aeon/Aoetec gear through the end of the week. 15% off and free shipping.
