Well, I think my question has been answered. I try to contact OSRAM Canada and when I press option 3 for Sylvania lighting it says the option is invalid.
I try to fill out a webform to claim it under warranty and it get this...
Uh, I'm filling it out on Friday, should I wait until Tuesday or just take random shots at getting help?

That's where I was when I got the weird "Your Monday Webforms license is invalid or has expired" message. I called the number on their site, which goes to a support vendor that doesn't handle their calls anymore (They were stoked that LEDVANCE didn't remove their number or update it ) and they gave me a different number in Canada to call.
I called the Canadian number and - Yep, call a different number. So I call yet another number and they were closed for Good Friday and Easter Monday. So the game continues on Tuesday.
I may have a spare. Or more accurately, a critter nibbled the wires on my light string, so the supply is currently unused. Traveling overseas until the weekend, but direct message if you are willing to pay shipping on a unit that has perhaps 4 months of use.
Thanks for the offer - I took a closer look today and discovered that a critter had chewed on the light portion of the strand in one place. I should be able to solder it back together.
