Log items from built in apps and devices

I keep seeing in my logs a refresh over and over. It comes from the Life360 connector app. Also the same thing comes from the Application Refresh Button device driver. I have checked both and no debug is turned on.

This is no problem, but since both are built in there is no way I can turn them off. Just thought maybe whoever is in charge of that might turn it off at some point.

That is just general activity logging, not necessarily debug logging. Every device and app does it.

I realize that, but the device one says debug. The other says info. But usually the activity just shows up withing the events on the device or app, not in the log.

As I said it's no big deal, but I end up with a fairly long list in the logs. It logs both about once an hour.

If you’re using Hubitat’s built-in Life360 integration, you should be able to essentially disable all logging.

Within the Life360 App, you can go into the options section at the bottom and the disable debug logging as shown below.

And then within each virtual presence device, disable both Debug and Info logging as shown below.

I do not see anything in the logs from my Life360 integration.

As a further test, I did use the Life360 Refresh device to force an update. Doing so does result in some data being logged.

I do not routinely refresh the Life360 integration as it has been working reliably for us without the need to do so.

All that is turned off. I guess that being my point, it still logs.

Tagging @mike.maxwell from Hubitat, as he may be able to further reduce the logging when those options are disabled.
