Local hub

I am unable to connect to my hub.

After I discover the bu, and click on connect, I get the timed out error.

This site can’t be reached

192.168.0.150 took too long to respond.

Try:

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Create a DHCP reservation on your router for the hub (ensure the ip and MAC)

Press the network reset button on the bottom of the hub with a toothpic or paper clip for 7 seconds. It will be the only round hole out of all the square ones.

Wait till light is green again.

From a web browser on your pc, Go to the IP you reserved in your DHCP table.
See how it is after that.

I tried and same results.

Thank you for your time.

I had the same issue several years back. I just don't remember how I fixed it.

Can you ping the hub from a command line?

C:\Users\sebyw>ping 192.168.0.150

Pinging 192.168.0.150 with 32 bytes of data:
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.

Make sure it's directly plugged into your router. You're sure the IP reservation is properly on your router?

On your pc download angry ip scanner and see if you can see the hub It sounds like it changed IP address'

I'll put a big caveat in that I'm no network engineer.... But you don't have any weird and wonderful setup on the network, like a separate subnet for IoT devices and alike? Could there be some kind of firewall rule blocking comm's between your PC and the HE hub?
