I want to use local files instead of files located elesewhere on the net.
At first, I linked an audio file from a website to play BigBen every hour on my Symfonisk. Done
Then I downloaded the file and placed it on my own website (in case the file diseappear or whatever problem). Done
Even I have unlimited downloads with my internet provider, I wanted to be able to play those files locally (you know, the very important things in life, like playing BigBen if I loose my internet connection...)
I have a fanless windows 7 running as a music server to be able to listen to all my speakers (Vizio, Symfonisk, even Google Mini's).
I set a file server on the very same computer (HFS ~ HTTP File Server) and I'm able to redirect all files from that server to HE, locally.
Probably all guys here are smart enough to manage this, but I wanted to share that small experience because I had to do it myself and this could be useful if you want to do the same...
