Local Backup Schedule

My scheduled Local Backup on C7 is no loner executed as of few days ago. I now have to manually do a Local Backup daily. However my C8 Backups are performs as scheduled.

Go to Settings, Backup and Restore, what is the backup set to do? You can disable updates (accidentally?) in those settings in the bottom left corner of that page.

You really shouldn't need to do a daily backup unless you are making daily changes, I would go 3 days or even weekly.

Its scheduled for Daily Backup now, and I have tried changing to other intervals as well but no backups are executed.

Did this start with a firmware update, or some other event like a power outage? Or is it just suddenly it isn't backing up?

Anything in logs?

What hub firmware are you on?

It looks like after update to 2.3.6.140 - last successful update is on 2.3.6.136

Maybe @gopher.ny should look at this?

I seem to have had successful updates since 2.3.6.136.... Admittedly I went from 136 to 139... and have seen a successful transition in terms of backups between the two versions. But let me try 140...

I do note that 139 included:

Not sure if that posed an issue in moving from .136 - .139...

@msaeri - Looking at my backups.... I am wondering if your / our issue may be daylight savings related?

I moved into Daylight savings time at 2am on the 1st of Oct where 2am became 3am, sadly... Looking at my backups there did not appear to be one produced on the 1st, which would may sense given my setup for the backup to be taken at 2:15am. Maybe it is the situation for you as well?

This doesn't mean it is not worth being looked at by HE dev's, just may explain in some way what you are seeing.

Can you PM me the hub id? I can check the engineering logs on the hub.
