I just bought a C-8 and here are the list of sensors I'm looking to buy, I'm very new to this so just wanted to put it on here in case someone had tips or feedback or concerns.
1 Go with the plug/button sets.
2 The ThirdReality ones are good and I like the Sonoff ones personally (both OOS atm but $15-20/ea in the 2packs on sale).
3
4 It's always a crap shoot what you'll get when ordering from AE so The DMS01 Dome Ring Siren was my preferred device, even if it is Z-wave, but seems to be gone atm.
5
6 The Hue indoor is expensive but reliable and c/w temp and lux.
7 hmmm, cute
8 see 1
9
10 Add some Water Sensors.
And of course shipping atm is much better through Amazon.
2/4/6/8: I'm with the above replier - I'd avoid Ali - you don't know what you are going to get so no way to know if it will have an appropriate driver.
3. Outdoor Siren - nothing at that link indicates this siren is either zwave or zigbee. How are you planning to control it?
7. Night light - This won't connect to Hubitat. It just goes on and off via a photocell...
And...
It's not a sensor but if you're looking to add on an outdoor controlled plug, the sub $20 Kasa KP400 Wi-Fi is a great value. Block heaters etc.
And controllable completely locally with Hubitat (once it's set up).
No ZigBee functionality in the Kasa line, Wi-Fi only.
Unfortunately ZigBee/Z-Wave outdoor plugs are scarce and expensive beasts in these parts.
The cloud independent integration of Kasa with Hubitat Elevation (HE) means that as long as you have a half decent Wi-Fi signal leaking from your house you can set up these plugs to run automations as long as your HE/LAN remains functional.
Not sure I'd call them partners , they do own the distribution rights for Zooz products in Canada.
Because of that deal we pay a teensy bit extra for all Zooz products.
Not worth the hassle for me, the extra costs and time and probable loss of warranty.
Nothing Zooz sells is desirable enough to warrant the effort.
For people that regularly go south of the border... maybe.
If they ever cut ties with their current partners and start to sell at competitive prices I'd be more than happy to give them a try.

The Kasa is natively supported by HE, the Prime might be controllable using a community integration but it will likely be cloud dependent.
Or it might be flashable with Tasmota...
I think @Sebastien did something with some Costco Prime stuff.
Edit: But for that price I'd probably buy one to play with.
Costco use to sell Globe wall warts that could be flashed with Tasmota. I have a lot of those, but most of them are on a shelf in the basement at this time. I wanted to use them to track power usage, but ended-up getting an Emporia Vue, so no longer needed them for this. I do have a few in use however to turn on/off some devices.
