Hi, Using Android app 1.7.4 build 141 and the Lights/Switches tab (one of the 5 options at the bottom of screen) stopped working recently. I never use it, but my wife said she always uses it and it stopped working about a couple weeks ago.
I tried all the suggestions on a similar topic from earlier this year. Most of them were about internet connectivity. I can ping the internet at large from the hub's network test page. However, I can't ping specifically hubitat.com, nor can I ping that host from my PC. Any other well known site responds to pings. My DNS resolves hubitat.com to 3.144.137.105. The dashboard tab works correctly. Everything I've described above works the same regardless if I'm on my local wifi, or 5G. Exception: I can't run the hub's ping test over 5G because obviously not on same network and don't have remote admin product.
My platform version is 2.3.9.184 on C7. Any suggestions welcome as this is a frowning-wife level severity issue.
The first thing I'd do is upgrade to 2.3.9.193, just released today, which between that and some builds between yours and now, has some cloud connection fixes, which may or may not be your problem but aren't inconsistent with that possibility.
A short-term fix you could try is a reboot of the hub (from Settings > Reboot), but a platform update will do that on its own, so might as well just do one to do both!
You may also wish to consider transitioning to the new mobile app if you were not aware of its existence (the "Lights/Switches" verbiage suggests you're not using it), though both versions of the app should still work for the foreseeable future, so that isn't your problem -- just something you might have to face sooner or later.
The platform update & reboot did not fix. But the new app version with the green icon & white house has a functioning Devices tab. I assume that is the replacement. So far, so good. Thanks for the suggestion.
