Lighting and Motion sensors - Ring Alarm Pro integration

I recently acquired a few more Z-Wave switches and I'm looking for advice on how I can avoid sensor duplication between my Ring Alarm and Habitat. I'd like to use Ring motion sensors in a room and have it trigger a virtual switch via an Alexa integration and then design a lighting rules around this, unfortunately this is not truly 100% local, however my Hubitat is plugged directly into the Ring Alarm Pro with cellular network backup and I have plans to add a UPS to the Hubitat in the near future.

I have not acquired motion sensors yet. I'm interested to hear perspective on how I might add some automation without breaking the bank with duplicative motion sensors.

You pretty much summarized it, though you can use the "Unofficial Ring Connect" app on the Hubitat and bypass Alexa. Then at least it's just 1 non-local process rather than 2.

I have many automations based on my Ring devices (house already had hardwired alarm system on all doors/windows, so I have the retrofit alarm kit). All of my integrations between Ring/Hubitat operate very quickly.
