Life 360 presence mode

This was one of the reasons I originally created Presence Central
All of my automations are controlled by a virtual presence sensor and PC uses multiple methods to control the virtual.

I'm trying to stick to native apps as much as possible, but I am using your Virtual Presence Plus driver

Another Life360 event today. I left the house but hubitat didn't get a not-present event until about an hour later. I added in a refresh ever n minutes too. Didn't help. This sucks.

Yup. I have exactly one problem with my Hubitat install right now, and it is presence detection.

Life 360 doesn't update at all sometimes (although It is always accurate on the phone), and my settings keep getting wiped out every 2-3 days. Used to be very reliable in ST (as long as I had a webcore program to refresh every 5 minutes).

I'm trying Amazon Alexa again. I tried it right when location routines came out and it was causing some issues on one of my phones, but I'll try again.

If that doesn't work then I'll try the 30 day trial of Simplex Locate.

Several months ago, my L360 was super flakey, the settings would drop every few days. If the settings are there, it seems to be rock solid

HA support indicated they were able to reproduce the issue but I don't recall hearing from them after that

I have a refresh on L360 when a specific door opens and it hasn't been an issue since. We go out this door like 20-30 times per day

Bruce also suggested I setup a rule to notify me if my presence doesn't change at least every 24 hours. We were out of town the last 3 days and I got a text each day

Life360 has been down the last day and a half due to an ICANN domain registration issue...

Lol, that's a big whoops on their part.

I'm sure someone is not going to have a happy holiday with not having a job.... It's pretty common for SSL certs to expire and cause an interruption but this??? wow... oops

Is that just the website? The service has been working fine for me.

Mobile was not working correctly either. Tried using it several times in the last few days and it was showing people all over the place and was showing historical data for some people. For instance a family member that was Home was being shown in New Jersey!

Weird, I haven't seen any issues here. It's been updating correctly for both my phone and my wife's phone.

What mobile app? On android the app loads for me with an error that Life360 is not responding. The map it shows is not accurate.

This is on Android phones. Checked on my phone and Wife's phone same error.

My Life360 plugin also can't connect to get info as the domain is not resolving to their servers and I suspect the same for Hubitat as well.

Android for both of us. Just loaded it up and all is good. We haven't arrived or left this morning but last night it worked as expected when we got home.

I am using an Android phone and others in our home use iPhones we have had no issues at all? Everything appears to be updating correctly and reflects that same status on Hubitat.

The web site works for me as well

2 Androids here, both working as designed, just logged into the app, no issues there either

Very interesting. I'm in US East Coast so I wonder if it's the servers I'm hitting? My mobile (just checked) is still giving errors and the web page is still giving the ICANN page.

Very odd....

We are in Colorado, USA. Working well here.

Site and Android app both working fine for me near St. Louis, MO.

Florida here . Website and app are functional.
