So I've been away for a while. While I was catching up on my readng, one of the threads I was reading was talking about a developer changing his licence for his apps. To be honest, I don't think i have ever actually read a licence, just click accept and move on. Then again I'm not talented enought to do much more with it that use it for its intended purpose without modifing anythng.
So, are these licenses pretty much boiler plate documents? Are there certain licenses that are more prevelant than others? Is there some place one could go if there were so inclined to read them and compare them to others?
I'm not trying to start any squabbles, just trying to educate myself.
