I have an issue that is manifesting in the lgk app - I am not sure this is specific to this app, but since it’s visible there, and since I can’t find a way to reset the issue in the app, I thought I would post here.
My main issue is that my HE has started getting jobs stuck in the “scheduled jobs”:
So I don’t know how to clear the scheduled jobs, which I think will allow this to work again. Anyone know how to do that? I have other jobs for other devices that are sticking, too, but not sure what is causing that overall.
(Note that the gate is actually closed, too, even though this shows as open)
I have tried rebooting, etc, but the jobs persist. For this one, removing/re-adding might work, but since there are so many devices doing this, I don’t want to go through all that if I can just reset the scheduled jobs somehow.
That's not the virtual garage door device I wrote that you should be using . Mine.is.
Called simulated garage door opener v2
And has fxs open.close configure etc which would.clear out any pending jobs.
You can try resaving the virtual device or change the device type to "device" and then back.and hopefully it will clear the jobs.
And it has been working fine for quite a while (I realize it was for a garage door, and mine is a motorized gate, but I have all the parts (fibaro switch and an open/close sensor). Are you saying the other app you reference is more suitable to use, or what were you getting at there, can I ask?
As part of troubleshooting I did actually change all the devices/settings in the virtual garage door app, but it didn’t clear out the scheduled jobs. :(. Do you know if there is a way to just go clear out all the scheduled jobs?
this is the one i am using that i tested and made to work with it.. but as i said that may not be the issue but those scheduled jobs are from the device not from my app.. you should be able to change the device to type "Device " then back to clear it.. but my guess is that the physical relay/switch is not turning on off or the sensors is bad.
as mentioned an app does not get stuck in opening or closing so the title is a misnomer.. a device does and all i do is send events to the device not schedule jobs.. if you look at the code above in the device it schedules jobs for finiishoipening or finishclosing.. i imagine the virtual device you are using does something similiar and that is the jobs you see stuck.. was there a power outage why the jobs never finisihed. this issue goes beyone the app or device as uyou should not have hung jobs.. you may want to contact support.. you also may have database corruption.. etc.
beyond that it is hard to support as i dont use that device and dont have the source for it.. That is why I use the above device since i have the source and can more finely control what is going on..
Hi all, and thank you - time will tell, but it looks like restoring from a backup has fixed this for now (scheduled jobs went away, anyway). Thanks for the help!
