Disclaimer: I'm new!
I just connected a Leviton ZW15R outlet that has dimming functionality, but I don't see an option to dim the device in hubitat (neither in device config nor dashboard). I tried changing the template on the dashboard to dimmer, but the dimming slider didn't do anything. What am I missing?
I don't think the ZW15R has dimming capability - do you have a reference that it does?

Are you sure you're looking at a ZW15R?
The DZPD3 is a plug-in z-wave dimmer, and the DG3HL is a plug-in zigbee dimmer, but those are the only 2 (non-switch style) smart dimmers I know of from Leviton.
Yeah it's an outlet. It advertises functions like dimming on the side of the box, but it could be bad advertising and really mean that leviton also sells dimming products.
I have a couple ZW15s, but I ditched the boxes long ago. You won't find any 3-prong smart outlets or wall-wart plugs that do dimming due to liability issues with high-draw devices like vacuums and hair dryers unknowingly getting plugged into them.
That's why all (reputable, anyway!) dimmable wall-wart plugs are 2-prong only (i.e. made for lamps).
FYI, the ZW15R has a firmware issue that can cause it to drop off the network (not unique to just Hubitat). I experienced this issue on one of mine, but the other 2 were fine.
If you experience that, you can email dssupport@leviton.com and ask them to help enroll you in the beta firmware program.
