Leviton Switches - Multipe Events per command

Hello,

I have about 12 Leviton ZWave Plus switches in my environment. All of them are running on firmware version 1.20 (updated them with the Homeseer Z-Flash utility). Ever since moving from ST to HE, I am seeing delays long delays in my night routine. I have tried my routine as a RM rule and as a custom App that does the same thing.
I see multiple event entries for each command that is send. I have the feeling that my ZWave network is getting flooded and causing the delays.

Here is an example:

This is what I am seeing as events for a single "on" command:

logging the device shows this:

The device uses the "Generic Z-Wave Outlet" but I see the same result for the "Generic Z-Wave Smart Switch".

Here is the device fingerprint:

This happens for all of my Leviton switches and causes quite some traffic on the network.

Has anybody else seen such behavior from those switches?

Thanks!!

I am not home at the moment but I just try 2 different Leviton dimmers and 2 switches and did not experience the same issue. When I get home I will try physically pressing the switch also to test.

After you updated the switches to the latest firmware did you factory reset them?

Hi,

no, I didn't factory reset them.
However, I getting more and more the feeling that my mesh is/was not stable.
I have a second USB Zwave adapter (Nortek, the same HE uses) that I use for firmware updates. That adapter is tied into my HE as a device.
I just installed OZWCP in a Linux environment and fired it up. On startup, OZWCP went to town and updated all the routing information on my Zwave devices.
After that initial startup, my response times for my routines were very fast and no more double or triple events!
It appears as the devices had some old or wrong routing information that then somehow compounded....

I already ran a few "Repair Z-Wave" from HE over the last couple of days/weeks that never had that same result as running OZWCP.

Of course, now I can't reproduce this, which I guess is a good thing.

I am still wondering though why the HE Repair Z-Wave did not have the same effect as the OZWCP....

I would reset them, there was another user on here that had problems after updating the firmware on the Leviton's until he reset them. I have at least 20 of these dimmers/switches and I reset them after I did the update and have not had any issues.
