@Hubitat_Staff, I’m not sure who to tag, but can the Leviton D46HD Dimmer get added to the Generic Matter Dimmer? When I paired it matched as Device but switching it to the in built driver works perfectly. Fingerprint is:

As for a quick review in my never ending search to find the “perfect” dimmer for my needs, this is a strong contender. This Leviton Dimmer is Matter via WiFi and the third generation of the series. The reason I’m testing it as that Leviton has added a Smart Bulb Mode to the firmware. After installing the device into Apple Home, Hubitat, and the My Leviton app, I updated the firmware to get access to SBM. With some rules in Hubitat, it’s working perfectly. The nice thing in the firmware is that even in SBM, if I hold the down paddle for 2 seconds, it will do a true power off. So, I can do that or use the air gap (lifting the dimmer bar up).
Considering this dimmer is available through both Amazon and Home Depot, I really like its accessibility. Plus, Prime Days had it for $24 a piece. Yes, it’s a local control WiFi device, but I’m thrilled with its performance. The only catch is that it does not due all the button presses like an Inovelli or the new LIFX dimmer switch that just got released. If you have questions about the device, let me know.
