This is exactly!
I used SuperSlicer and set it to print the way it holds the spices. That way, I don't need any supports. I had to rotate it 45 degrees so it would fit on the build plate.
Yeah, that's how I printed all my regular sized spice holders. This was for my "up-sized" set, 151% wider than normal to hold much larger containers. Just too big to fit on the build plate sitting normally, even when positioned diagonally across the build plate it was too large. Even putting it on its side I also had to down-size it from stock - had to print it 97% of original length so both it and the supports would fit.
It's a beast! Needed to be large enough for much larger containers than the standard spice-jar size. It's a little over 90mm across, regular size is 59mm.
Every problem is an opportunity. ![]()
My wife is just not a fan of yours...guess why.
Correct, you're an enabler!! ![]()
Where/how did you mount it? Pics!! ![]()
In case you were wondering what happens if you print a calibration cube, but forget to turn off organic supports.

If you want to calibrate your printer properly, this system is well worth the 5£ and is what I use.
Calibration? I just like printing the cubes, I don't do anything with them.
I replaced the power supply that came with my SV06 with a 350 watt Meanwell power supply yesterday.
Much quieter than the stock one.
STL for the mount is available in the Sovol SV06 Facebook group (or buy one from TH3D)
Each of my spools is in a ziploc bag, with a dessicant container in the centre of the spool.
Each bagged spool is placed in a tote with a seal.
I have 4 totes so far, each tote holds 5 spools of filament.
We don't have central air in our place, and it gets stupidly humid here in the summer months.
Plus the room my printers and filament is in has the equivalent of a 55 gallon aquarium in it (why have one money sucking hobby when you can have 2 or more?
).
Wonder if the SV05 and '6 have the same power supply. Layout sure looks familiar...
You could just replace the fan with a quieter one if it’s an issue for you. Just make sure it’s the right voltage by churching what’s in there. Many 24v PSU’s still use 12v fans.
Btw, I finished the Tie Fighter for Hugo. I think I’m finally winning at parenting! ![]()
Nice! It looks larger than the interceptor? Here's the interceptor scaled up to 150% (texta for comparison), it's pretty largish. Going to give this one away to a mate who is a SW fan.
think the SV05 already has the Mean Well - on their site they refer to as
● Power Supply: 350w Creality Power Supply
but I believe I heard it Referred to as Mean Well in one of the videos
EDIT - finally got around to opening up and it is not a Mean Well - it is a Creality CMS-350-24 which appears to be a Mean Well LRS-350-24 clone... since I had it open and not being one to leave well enough alone I tried swapping the fan with this one... Amazon.com: Wathai DC Exhaust Cooler Fan 60mm x 60mm x 15mm 12V 2Pin Brushless Cooling Fan : Electronics which I'd hoped would be quieter but still within spec - it was not - it was louder, so i put the stock fan back in and buttoned it back up. didnt get around to drilling any holes. I'm used to it at this point so i probably just leave it as-is
I think my entire house is held together with Velcro. ![]()

If I get an IP cam for integration w/Klipper/Mainsail (currently have small Ring camera mounted on the frame that I'm using) then I'd like to mount it to the build plate so I have a consistent perspective during the print. Something really small/light like the rpi camera module 2 or 3, That could be fun to have.
It's a common layout for the more exposed printer designs.
The online images make it look like the SV05 may have a Meanwell power supply (or a knock-off)
The SV06 has a lower quality chinese brand which have high resistance readings.
They do the job, but could fail.
