I’ve noticed this device is popular among HA users, and it seems to be a pretty robust device… being a failed attempt at a workplace solution now selling at a significant discount. Is anyone using this as an HE interface?
I tried it back in January. Installing the new software mentioned in the HA forums is PITA that I luckily was able to get working but saw no benefit to device over normal tablet. It didn't have normal access to Play store and required workarounds thruout. "The juice wasn't worth the squeeze"
If you read thru the flash installation thread on HA and fully understand what each step is doing, go for it. But I didn't know nor did I understand when the thread about this device started suggesting new things to fix some of device's shortcomings.
