TLDR: What product mix have others used for straight up tunable white that retains the cct you select and is dimmable at the switch?
I am new to Hubitat with a new house but was a long time Insteon user. I work in commercial / retail store lighting and building automation. So far so good with Hubitat and a lot of Zooz!
We have no LED in our house. Despite it being my business, the light quality is nowhere near incandescent, so we roll with a garage full of contraband and hope the light bulb police never show up ;). But now I have an application to backlight some things, and LED tape is the best solution due to geometry. I am looking for a zwave controller and tape that I can tune to a warm but not yellow color, have that color retained in memory, and then have on/off/dim controlled by a wall dimmer. No need for RGB, and don’t want a remote involved beyond setup and initial color tuning.
I know how to get it done in a commercial setting, but don’t need a theatrical solution for cove lighting in my guest bathroom.
